The Beginner's Guide to Zoho Commerce & MightyChat Integration

Integrating Zoho Commerce with MightyChat

This guide will walk you through the process of integrating your Zoho Commerce store with MightyChat, allowing your customers to interact with your business and get product information directly through the chat interface.

Before you begin:

  • Ensure you have a Zoho Commerce store and an active MightyChat account.

Steps:

  1. Connect Zoho Commerce:

    • Access MightyChat's integration settings.
    • Locate the Zoho Commerce option and click "Connect".
    • Authorize the integration by granting the necessary permissions (access to store and product lists).
  2. Create/Select Chatbot:

    • Choose to either create a new chatbot or utilize an existing one.
    • For a new chatbot, provide a name and welcome message. Select the desired language model and visibility settings.
  3. Configure Zoho Commerce Data Source:

    • Within the chatbot settings, choose Zoho Commerce as the data source.

    • Input your Zoho Commerce Organization ID and Store URL.

      • Organization ID:
        • Go to your Zoho Commerce dashboard.
        • Navigate to Settings > Organization Profile. /zstore/settings/organization
        • Locate and copy the Organization ID displayed there.
      • Store URL:
        • This is your Zoho Commerce store's web address.

        • Copy and paste it into the designated field within MightyChat.
    • Click "Verify Organization" to confirm the connection.

  4. Save Changes and Train Chatbot:

    • Click "Save Changes" to finalize the integration.
    • This action will automatically trigger the training process, enabling the chatbot to access and learn from your Zoho Commerce product data.
  5. Test and Deploy:

    • Utilize MightyChat's testing feature to ensure the chatbot responds accurately to product inquiries.
    • Once satisfied with the performance, deploy the chatbot to your website or desired channels.

Additional Notes:

  • Refreshing the Integration: If you ever need to refresh the integration or update permissions, follow these steps:

    • Disconnect Zoho  from MightyChat.
    • Reconnect Zoho Commerce, following the authorization steps.
    • Save changes and allow the chatbot to re-train.
  • Product and Store Information: The chatbot will be able to access and provide information such as:

    • Product names, descriptions, prices, images, and availability.
    • Store policies, shipping information, and contact details.
  • The fields that are read are
    • "name"
    • "product_description"
    • "product_short_description"
    • "prduct_id"
    • "stock"
    • "price"
    • "url"
    • "image"

  • Prompting:
If you encounter issue with MightyChat.ai giving incorrect url, add the following text to your prompt: 
Steps to reply:

1. Remember each product is composed of:  "name", "product_description", "product_short_description", "stock", "price" "url", "image"

2. Before sharing the URL of the property, make sure the "product_description field matches the "url" field
